It has a plastic cover and a simple writing style aimed at teenagers and kids. Full of fantasy and adventure this book is a very simple read and enjoyable. Title: American Dictionary of the English Language Published by: S. Converse. Book Format:This is a reference book. The cover is hard and the book itself weighs about five pounds. The format is easy to follow allowing the readers to easily find the word they are looking for. Title: Desiring God Published by: Multnomah Books Book Format: Following God from the Bible this book is placed in the religious category. This book is specifically aimed at Christians seeking to improve their relationship and walk with God. It has a thick paper like cover and is divided in sections of study allowing for the reader to focus in on certain points and even has a study guide in the back of the b...

Magazines

Choose a magazine that you or someone in your household, or among your friends, reads in a physical copy. What is the specific audience for this magazine? How can you tell? From the title, the advertising, the graphics, the topics of the articles? A magazine my mom uses is Make-Ahead Recipes hosted by Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Publications. This magazine focuses mainly on married middle age women that have skills in the cooking category. Each page contains different at home recipes and a shopping list of what is needed. Like the title and side notes suggest it has everything its customers would need for a future dinner that needed to be made in advance or something like party or celebration. The advertising is aimed toward at home cooking and flower gardening which is common among married middle age women. News, what's fake what is true? (Examination)

Should fire arms be allowed in school?  The article by Liberty.news, written by J.D Hayes the editor in chief of the National Sentinel, uses this article to showcase a major university that has allowed students to carry firearms. This article starts off with putting aside the opinions of the left side and mostly confining it to a box of one idea instead of examining it as a whole. The tone of this article is very critical as if stressing that its point is very obvious and there is no reason why someone shouldn't agree with it. "Major university authorized concealed carry of firearms on campus six months ago, and the results have been phenomenal for student safety" is the central claim for this article. Making its point very clear, this article comes across as very biased and is not very objective in maintaining a neutral outlook. By providing only the statistics that helps its case and downplaying other side. This article does provide some evidence for what it is saying...
